Vave applies a risk-based approach to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and payment misuse.

Purpose and scope

Controls cover registration, deposits, gaming, withdrawals and account management. The Service must not be used to transfer or conceal illicit funds.

Customer Responsibilities

Provide accurate information, cooperate with reasonable verifications, and only use payment methods and wallets that you control.

Identity Verification

Vave may request government ID, proof of address, photo or video verification to confirm identity and age.

Source of funds and assets

Depending on the risk, statements, proof of payment, pay slips, company documents or other lawful supporting documents may be requested.

Ownership of Payments and Wallets

The funds must belong to the account holder. Third party payments may be declined and a withdrawal may be held during verifications.

Transaction Monitoring

Deposits, stakes, withdrawals, devices and linked accounts can be analyzed for fraud, sanctions evasion and unusual patterns.

Increased vigilance

Additional controls may apply to high-risk operations, regions or behaviors. A transaction may be delayed or declined if the risk is not resolved.

Prohibited activities and reporting

Fraud, identity theft, stolen instruments, collusion, multiple accounts and concealment of funds are prohibited. Relevant information may be transmitted when required by law.

Data retention

Verification and activity documents are retained for the period required by applicable laws and accessible only to authorized persons.
